Paul encourages us to continue to stand (form of be - shows a state of existence) firm, and not be shaken. We wouldn't have these admonishments in Scripture, if being a Christ follower were a matter of fact, easy lifestyle. It's not and we all know it. We need encouragement. We need pep talks. We need to be constantly reminded to stand firm, not be shaken and as well; continue to stay busy as Christ followers, working for the Lord.
And remember, you're not alone Before Jesus shed his blood for you, He sweat His blood for you. He suffered the worst mental and emotional torment for you, then He suffered the worst bodily harm for you by going to the cross. The Bible lets us know that Jesus suffered such acute stress that blood actually broke through his skin and he sweated blood. He then went to the cross to bear our sins and the wrath of God that was meant for you and me!
Jesus relates to you. He wants you to know that you can cast that stress, Those worries on Him so that He can handle it for you. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
